Colleen

Senior portraits are always fun and exciting! It was great to listen to Colleen’s anticipation of looking forward to college and adventures that life holds. She has a lot to look forward to as she attends the University of Kentucky in pursuit of her interest in music. I wish her the best!

Funny Faces!

My niece Ellie is amazing! My brother thought it would be fun to make some photos of her as she played during bath time with her mom. He was right,  Ellie was hilarious with all of her funny faces and expressions. As always, she was the perfect model.

Victory Christian Church

Lexington is full of GREAT people! I met scooter enthusiast and Pastor, Carl Wagoner at a Vespa Lexington cookout over the summer. After he shared some fun history about his church, we realized we had a lot in common. We both had studied photography under the same professor at UK. Small world! Always looking for something new to photograph, I offered to update Victory Christian Church’s website with some new photos and he was excited about the offer. I could not have been given any better light to photograph with!

Tates Creek Football Scrimage

I love to photograph Football! So when Tates Creek High School contacted me needing a photographer for a pre-season scrimmage against Butler, I was all over it. They were looking for isolated action of their starters, coaches coaching and general game action for their game day guides.

Gracie

I decided to meet Amanda, her daughter Gracie, and their Newfoundland pup “Bear” at historic Henry Clay’s Home in Lexington Ky. What an amazing place for portraits! Gracie was super cute and had a blast posing with her not so little puppy.

Circa, Kimbrel/Birkman Interior Design

I was recently hired by award winning interior designer Thomas Birkman of Kimbrel/Birkman Interior Design to photograph his Interior Design Boutique, Circa. The new Circa location at 351 West Short St. in Lexington Kentucky is an amazing space with tons of great furniture, accessories and design inspiration. For more information contact Thomas at Kimbrel/Birkman Interior Design.

lil’Lila

One week old Lila was gracious enough to let me photograph her over our stay in Lexington. This newborn didn’t seem a bit nervous about her portrait session as she worked up a few cute spontaneous poses and smiles and then dosed off to get her beauty sleep. What a cutie! Congratulations to Wes and Jessica!!!

Asbury Theological Seminary

At the start of our trip to Kentucky I was very fortunate to be hired to photograph the Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. Founded in 1923 the campus is historic and beautiful and has been subtlety renovated to meet the modern expectations of todays students. Here are some photos taken of the quaint campus.

Lexington Bike Polo

I have to admit, I love everything to do with BIKES!!! So I made another trip down to Lexington’s Coolavin Park Bike Polo courts to make some more photos. We haven’t tried to jump in on a game yet but there is something about this fledgeling sport that looks challenging and a lot of fun. LEX RIDES website has a little more info for anyone interested in playing Hardcourt Bike Polo in Lexington.
